Carly was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland, where she earned her bachelor’s degree at Salisbury University (GO GULLS!) before heading to American University for her master’s. She’s passionate about criminal justice reform and spends much of her time advocating for change. Outside of work, you’ll probably find her riding her bike, hiking, or soaking up the sun at the beach. She’s also mom to Jack—her favorite adventure buddy—and lives with two beloved dogs: Mr. Vinny, a spunky little Pomeranian, and Lucy, a gentle Great Pyrenees who takes her guard dog duties very seriously (but mostly naps).
