Criminal Record Expungement
We can help you with a new start by wiping the slate clean.
If you were charged with cannabis possession, recent changes in Maryland law have made it so the record of this charge can be removed from public view. This does not mean the record has been erased and may still show up in background investigations. We’re here to help you get a clean slate so you can move forward with career and educational opportunities and find safe housing. Check your eligibility here and submit an intake form so we can connect you to a volunteer attorney who can help.
Criminal Record Expungement
We help expunge your record of acquittals, dismissals, probation before judgment, nolle pros, stet, and nuisance offenses. If you were found guilty in a criminal case, you may still be eligible for expungement. We’ll work with you to expunge your record well in advance of the three-year timeline established by the state for automatic expungements so you can pursue new endeavors sooner. This may include removing your records from police records, reports, and court documents, allowing you to search for job opportunities, pursue further education, and apply for safe housing without fear of being discriminated against.
Learn more about criminal record expungement and how we can help by reading the following fact sheet. This also includes our work as part of the Maryland Cannabis Campaign.
Please note: we do not practice criminal law but we do help remove convictions that are eligible for expungement from your criminal record in Maryland.
