Jenifer Goolie, Esq.

Jenifer Goolie has been practicing law in Maryland for 31 years and is currently a social services attorney in the Lower Shore where she works in child welfare, adult protective services, and adult guardianships. She holds a bachelor’s degree in city planning, magna cum laude (1989); a juris doctor (1993); and master’s degree in Divinity (2002), all while matriculating at Howard University, Washington D.C. She began her legal career working in small firms or in solo practice in the D.C. Metropolitan area concentrating in family law matters. She became an attorney to be able to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, and to defend the rights of the poor and the needy.” She believes that folks have the right to have quality legal services even if they cannot afford it. Throughout her career Jenifer has been involved in pro bono work in some form, and this shall always be a part of her life and work. Jenifer is originally from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies and is the proud mother of three young children.
