EASTON, MD – April 2021 – Mid-Shore Pro Bono (MSPB), a non-profit organization on Maryland’s Eastern Shore that provides free access to legal services to low-income community members, today announced its search for new MSPB board members to expand the organization’s impact on the mid and lower shore communities it serves.
“As we celebrate 15 years of providing civil legal assistance to individuals and families, we are planning ahead for the future of our organization and are seeking results driven leaders to help lay the course for the next 15 years,” said Sandy Brown, executive director. “We would love for anyone who wants the opportunity to be a part of an organization that has a direct impact on the improvement and resolution of legal and civil matters in their community to consider joining the Mid-Shore Pro Bono Board of Directors. Please reach out!”
Volunteers are not required to be attorneys to join the board, but non-profit and fundraising experience is preferred. The board meets quarterly with breakout committee meetings throughout the year. MSPB is widely known and respected within the legal services community in the state and is eager to grow its board membership.
